Summary:
Merchandiser is responsible for ensuring our products are properly displayed and available to customer in retails store. This role involves task such as planning product placements, managing inventory, coordinating with suppliers and optimizing store layouts to boost sales.

Job Purpose / Objective:

  • Display
    Ensure the products are effectively displayed and promoted in retail store to maximize sales and meet customer demand. To drive product visibility, improve customer experience and contribute to the overall success of retail business.

Primary Duties & Responsibilities:

  1. Product placement and display:
    Arranging products on shelves, racks or block displays according to store layout plans and visual merchandising guidelines to attract customer.
  2. Inventory management:
    Monitoring stock levels, tracking product movement and ensuring shelves are replenished to avoid out of stock situations.
  3. Supplier and vendor coordination:
    Communicating with supplier/sales representative and vendors to endure timely delivery of products, resolve any stocks discrepancies and discuss product availability or returns.
  4. Cleanliness and organization:
    Ensuring the shelf or display is neat and organized, enhancing the shopping experience.
  5. Reporting:
    Preparing reports on stock levels and inventory movements to management.
